Popsicle, anyone?

Today, after working on repetitive projects, I decided to break from them and make something else just for fun. So thanks to Jennygurumi's free pattern for this cute popsicle, I decided to make my own. My daughter loves neapolitan ice cream, so I made her Amineko cat a treat.

How mice of you!

Upon completing my friend Cheryl's cats, she suggested I make a mouse filled with catnip. I love a challenge, so I went ahead and complied. Here is mousie, all filled with catnip.

Sushi, anyone?

Last night, after I finished a friend's order, I started on another. After a while, it gets boring...making the same thing over and over. So, in between, I always make something else to get me back into the fun of it. Not that making orders isn't fun, but honestly, it's more fun when you make things just because.

I had made a sushi roll earlier which I made for my Uva, my Amineko cat. All these ideas started rushing in to my head! So when I was done with Cher's order, I made a couple more 'sushi' items. I made an onigiri, and a prawn, along with some wasabi. Man, I wanted to make so much more, but I started feeling tired and just took pictures, haha.

So here it is, my sushi alone and with three hungry cats.

This is what's been keeping me busy. I'm working on three (maybe even four) Amineko cats for my friend, Cheryl.

I love it, it keeps me from committing murder, haha. I am only kidding! 😝

Hello, and happy hump day!

Alas, my very first post. I said I would start this up yesterday, but I've been so busy pushing out orders that the last thing on my mind is making blog posts.

I went to bed tired and sore last night. I've been working on five, yes, FIVE, Amineko cats for friends. I feel bad that I haven't been working fast, but my hands can only take so much before I quit to repose. Lately, my right hand looks swollen and my wrist aches, but I've been keeping it cool in the day and warm at night, and it feels a bit better.

Anyway, I am obsessed with these Amineko cats! They're just too darn cute and fun to play with and cuddle with. My girls love their cats. Here's a picture of a few I've made, along with a puppy friend using the same pattern. ❤
